Great knife sits well in hand so easy to use. Tackles hard skin fruit & veg very well
Not impressed at all. Knife is flimsy and snapped at the handle whilst cutting cheese!! Asked for a replacement as it has a LIFETIME guarantee and then had to do the following: Email photo of the broken knife along with proof of purchase and guarantee, then send the knife back at cost to get a code which would then only allow me to PURCHASE another knife off the website at a slightly discounted rate. When I questioned this I was told that the knifes guarantee was for the life of the knife which is 5 years and I would have to pay for the years I had used it and then the postage of the one I purchased! I have since bought a sturdy quality Japanese knife that is far superior in every way.

When you contacted us you could provide no proof of purchase and you hadn't registered your knife for the extended guarantee. All details to do this were on the card included with your purchase. Despite this we took your word and registered you for the extended guarantee. All the terms of our guarantee are fully explained when you register. The slightly discounted rate was some 80% off the website price, and your replacement comes with a full guarantee, all as per the original purchase. Any life-time guarantee is the reasonably expected life of the product, which is 10 years for our knives. Cheers, Phil & Lesley
Amazing knife in every respect and so good that I have just bought another one so that I always have one to hand!
Really good and easy to use as I have arthritis in my thumbs which makes cutting difficult. A useful knife to have In the knife drawer. Brilliant
I really love my knife and use it every day. My only wish is that I should have bought the larger one too. I really hope that I win the prize.

Excellent knife that is consistently sharper than any other knife in the drawer. It does everything that was promised when we bought it and more Very easy to recommend to other users. Buy the entire set!
Bought this knife to replace one that got left behind in a holiday home. It is used most days as are most of the Magic Knives in our house. If it got lost or damaged, I would replace it with exactly the same.
What a great knife sold by a friendly and knowledgable team. Haven’t had to sharpen it yet and I use this every single day!!! Would recommend 100%!

Can't say more than it does exactly as expected; that is it is sharp and cuts any thing easily and without sticking to the blade. It was a good investment.
Purchased this knife at the Ideal Home and although sceptical as to its quality and use, have since found it to do all that was demonstrated. I have found the knife to be of good quality and a most useful addition to our kitchen equipment.
I originally bought the 8" knife and thought it was brilliant so bought the 5". I have now got the 3" completing the set. The best investment in knives I have made.
Great knife stays sharp excellent for vegetables
I have been very impressed indeed with this knife and wish I'd bought the whole set at the time! It cuts through food so easily that I use it every time I am preparing anything. It never seems to get blunt.
MAGIC KNIFE 18 September 2019. Hi, thanks for the comments. We do recommend a periodic sharpening to keep them in tip-top condition. It's hard to say how often as it depends on how they are used but about every two months is a good rule of thumb. If you wish to purhase any more on our website, don't forget to use the code on the Guarantee Registration Certificate that you would have received by email after registering, this will give a very good discount on the prices.
