This set is really the best thing since sliced bread! Cutting through butternut squash and other hard veg is now a pleasure instead of something I sued to dread. I would not be without them.

Hi. I just want to say how efficient and helpful the customer care had been from Phil and Lesley. I've had my 8' and 5' knife for 5 years and they are so good that they are the only knifes I use. The handle of the 5" broke but I couldn't find the guarantee. They asked me some questions, tracked when I bought it and reissued the guarantee. I can now have my much loved knife back and have actually ordered some more to add to my collection. I can thoroughly recommend them Magic Knife as a company!! Amanda

Purchased the box set at the Good Food Show Birmingham, a few years ago and they are still working perfectly. Had the 5 inch knife come away from the handle spoke to Phil, it was replaced immediately. Absolutely love them, now thinking of taking up their offer and purchasing a second set as it looks like there will be no show this year.

This is the 2nd box set I have purchased and I love using the knives...they are super sharp and easy to sharp. I have no issues in cutting through butternut squash to filleting steak! They wash well in the dishwasher too. Love these knives and I recommend them to everyone.

Addendum to my review below. Whilst my Sabatiers have been going longer than the Magic Knives,they are nowhere near as good to use.

Bought the set about 5 years ago from the Caravan and Camping Show at the NEC thinking we'd probably regret it. No, great knives. The scissors were pretty useless but the knives are excellent, but unfortunately the 8" has just died on me. Whilst bearing down to cut a parsnip, the blade shank came up through the top of the handle. This is the knife I use most, so I'm going to have to buy another one. It's a great shame, but I suppose it's because the handles are plastic. My Sabatier knives have been going for a lot longer since they have wooden handles with rivets through them

Brilliant set! I love the fact the 8" knife easily cuts through swedes and celeriac, both of which I used to struggle with. We have various makes of knives, scissors and peelers but both go straight for the Magic Knife ones. Can't recommend highly enough.
