Absolutely love the knife, however, the guy that sole it to me said it will only need sharpening twice a year. We have sharpened it quite a few times now. It isn’t used every day and when we do use it, it isn’t for long.

How often knives need sharpening depends on many factors such as how often they are used what is being cut, what sort of chopping board is being used etc. We find we sharpen our own personal knives about every 2 months. This knife was given to me as a Christmas present. Having spent may years in the catering trade, I can say that this is one of, if not the best knife I've ever used. It is so sharp and so easy to use. The balance is perfect. The holes make all the difference. 5*

I am 71 years old and a household cook who has had many sets of so called 'good' knives. These are without doubt the best I have ever used, really sharp and dishwasher safe. They are as good as the first day I used them.

MAGIC KNIFE 28 June 2018. Hi. We strongly recommend the knives are hand washed only.This is for four reasons; 1. The chemicals used in a dishwasher attack the edge of any good knife. It will require more frequent sharpening and its life can be reduced. 2. These chemicals will also cause the Teflon to wear off faster than normal, and may cause flaking. 3. Safety. Somebody may need to remove another item from the dishwasher, and if not paying attention, may not realise a sharp knife is in there and cut themselves. 4. Convenience. The dishwasher is running and you realise you need the knife. Cheers, Phil & Lesley

This is my third knife and I couldn’t be without them. Absolutely love them. Feel sorry for the people who don’t know about them. How many knives have this sort of guarantee? Really can’t recommend highly enough.

These knives have changed my life! My mum brought some at The Good Food Show and absolutely loved them so we went back the next year so I could buy my own. They a make cutting the hardest butternut squash an easy task! I would recommend them to everyone, even my friends have started buying them after using mine.
This knife is amazing and is all you need for chopping in your kitchen. It will cut through anything with ease. I use it everyday and would highly recommend these products.

Bought both the 8” and 5” knives, after 6 months of normal family household use they are still pretty sharp but I will be getting them sharpened soon but are much better than most knives we have purchased in the past.
