Knives work just as well as the demos showed. The scissors in the set are not of the same quality!
MAGIC KNIFE 14 March 2025. Hi. Do email phil@magic-knife.website as it is very rare we get complaints about the scissors. Cheers, Phil & Lesley
Best knife I have ever bought, use it virtually every day and have only had to sharpen it once. Excellent performance.
the knives have made cutting up veg and meat much easier and would have recommended to my friends
The most useful knife I have ever had, light and sharp, more importantly easy to use in all kinds of food. Thank you for this great invention.
The knives have been given a lot of loving care - handwash/ regular sharpening and have performance very well. Maintain their sharpness for a long time.
Great knife, very impressed! I like how it is flexible and keeps its sharpness very well. I wish I had gotten the complete set when I had the chance!
MAGIC KNIFE 03 March 2025. Hi Dee. Don't forget that the guarantee registration certificate that you will have received by email when registering for the extended guarantee, has a code on it that can be used for any online purchases to get a discount of about 20%. Cheers, Phil & Lesley
We have had our Magic knife for six months now. It’s still the go to knife for both myself and my wife. It needs a regular sharpen using the Magic knife sharpener. Comes up super sharp every time.
Absolutely brilliant knife, having arthritic hands means I normally struggle cutting veg, meat etc but with this knife I have no trouble at all
I got the set box from the Good Food Show. The lady who demonstrated it did a great job. I tried it and loved it. However, one year later, the blade detached from the handle of the 5" knife, which was supposed to last for a lifetime. Just like this – not a lifetime guarantee???? I told them when I visited the BBC Good Food Show again, but later, they refused to replace it, asking for proof of purchase, complaining that I had not filled in and returned the guarantee form and that I didn't have the original box. Simply a money-grabbing establishment selling rubbish and making us believe it will last a lifetime. What a load of rubbish!
MAGIC KNIFE 24 February 2025. Hi Razmik. I'm assuming that you did not take your knife along to the show. Had you done so it would have been exchanged on the spot with no charge. I have searched my records and cannot find a guarantee registration for you or any emails. Please do email phil@magic-knife.website and we'll get things sorted. Cheers, Phil & Lesley
This is my go to knife whatever I'm doing. Occasionally I use the smaller version but an happy with the 8" blade. Sharpens well and cuts everything I need cutting.
Great set of knife, peeler and scissors. Very handy sharpener as well. Bought during the royal welsh shoe, good demonstration and tips on how to keep in best condition. 10/10
Absolutely fantastic knifes. First purchased at the Royal Welshpool show. Since then we have purchased different sizes for around our home. W heave the sharpener as well. Last year I purchased the box set for Christmas for mum mum. Highly recommend to all my friends and family when they ask Customer service team are very helpful when had to deal with.
Having tried to claim under my warranty following the blade falling out of the handle, I am told that I must pay £13 for a replacement. £3 wear and tear, which I’m fine with, but also £5 postage and £5 for age verification. I’ve tried challenging that and have been ignored since. Zero stars for service.
MAGIC KNIFE 19 February 2025. Hi Andy, I think I've just found you in our records and can see that I've not received an email from you challenging the P&P costs. It is now a statutory requirement that all bladed items undergo age verification at point of delivery. Royal Mail will check the person taking delivery is who it is addressed to and that they are over eighteen. This has drastically increased our P&P costs to the extent that the total of £10.00 does not cover it. Please do email phil@magic-knife.website. Cheers, Phil & Lesley
I was using my knife and it snapped in the handle come off the handle. I'm only one who uses it as I have rhemoid arthritis in my hands. I brought these as they suppose last. Guantee is worth nothing
MAGIC KNIFE 21 February 2025. Hi. We are in contact by email so I am trying to sort this. Your knife is over ten years old, so we feel it has lasted well. As you are aware, even though it has lasted it's reasonably expected life, you can still take it along to most of any shows we are at for exchange on the spot at no cost. Cheers, Phil & Lesley
I have had my knife for 2 years and the blade snapped from just inside the handle. No problem I thought as I had taken lifetime guarantee out. But some were in the small print, (I haven't found it yet) I have to pay for 2 years use of the knife, £5 post and packing and £5 statutory age verification. So not actually what I was expecting. I think I will purchase from a local shop as NO post and packing, NO payment for statutory age verification and learn that a lifetime guarantee is not what is seems to be. If I went to a show with ID I could just swap it over, still have to pay £7 for 2 years use. Just so it is on record NOT once did this knife go in dishwasher. Please somebody let me know where the small print is!!!!!!
16 February 2025. Hiya. Assuming you bought your knife at a show, then you can take your knife along to most of any shows we are at, where it will be exchanged on the spot at no cost. There is no time limit on this, hence it is a "life-time" guarantee. You also have the option to register for the online guarantee which means you can exchange by post. This does involve costs, which are made clear when registering for the guarantee online at https://www.magic-knife.website/gnt/default.aspx Cheers, Phil & Lesley
